Yep, this year's ODAC BBQ's theme is 'Colour Tourist'... nah... i'm no longer bothered with themes anymore... erm... too old, no longer enthu, no time to think, dun belong to any team... haha, e list can go on but simply, i'm juz not bothered... erm... sorry trek comm... forgive me for this k! i seriously think that u all did a damn great job for e nite... think e best phrase to describe e BBQ will be 'its juz getting better each year'.. as i told moo..

talking bout e stocks market, struck me to share a little bout my BIG dream of PHUA 85 (retiree plan - to open a coffeeshop under some flats in Hougang)... i'm a difficult person, having lots of rules in my life! even for this dream business of mine, i layed some golden rules to tie myself to... mind u, i'm nv a business student..

1. No family member in company - i've seen enuff in my paternal family that how $ can turns things bitter.. if i'm rich, i'll treat u to a nice meal at my kopitiam, if i'm poor, trust me, i wun fuck you for not lending me $.
2. Never get involved with anyone within the business - relationship is a tacky thing, i'm poor in handing it, so i wun touch it... 色字头上一把刀.
3. Do what I know best, the unknown shall be left unknown - its good to be adventurous, but that's not my forte.
4. Be practical, make things happen. Never take things for granted - i'm never a sitting duck.
5. Keeping to my words, even if it means losing money - reputation and pride is everything.
6. What is said, is meant to be heard. What is thought, is meant to be understood.
7. Partnership is not built on trust but on the strength of each other - when it comes to $, trust nobody, i wun even trust myself, i'll let my wife keep my $.
8. Employees are machines that make the money. Oil them well, they serve me well. Remove at any sight of rust, else they corrode the rest - 养兵千日，用在一朝.
9. Making MORE money is NOT the objective of business. It is about spending the money I make - we live to eat, not eat to live.
